Healthy Lifestyle Campaign Should Look At Emotional Well-being Of Singaporeans

Singapore Budget 2014 Rising to support Budget 2014, NMP Faizah Jamal pointed out that there is a need to look into the emotional issues of Singapore's society that could be the underlying cause of outbursts such as road rage, suicides and even low productivity. An emotionally centred society is healthier and more productive, she said, calling for the healthy lifestyle campaign to look into dealing with the underlying causes of ill-health and not the symptoms through pharmaceuticals and hospitals. 05 Mar 2014
